Soul Mate Lesson
Your eyes meet across a crowded room. There’s a familiarity. As if you have met before, at another time and in another place. You watch with nervous anticipation as the handsome stranger strolls over. He speaks. You smile sweetly, ignoring your inner Goddess who is dancing for joy among the butterflies swirling in your tummy. In every way this moment resembles a Hollywood movie: The moment when the ordinary girl meets her soul-mate.
If you were watching this on the Big Screen, this couple would live happily ever after. But in the real world soul-mate relationships do not always have a happy ending. Fraught with intense highs and devastating lows, these relationships will challenge you to the point where you declare never to love again. However, soul-mate relationships are not meant to leave you feeling so devastated. Go beneath the veil of hearts and flowers, taking a more spiritual perspective, and you will come to recognise your soul-mate as your greatest teacher in love.
You are likely to have many soul-mates in your lifetime, each one entering your life to teach you lessons so that you can evolve on a spiritual and personal level. Your soul-mate can be anybody, even a nasty boss who makes your life hell, but in doing so teaches you not to give your power away. Such lessons are part of a soul agreement made with your soul-mates in another lifetime. At that time you agreed to come back together and play a particular role in one another’s lives so that lessons could be learnt.
